Every Sunday and Wednesday evening at 9:00 p.m. (EST), you can join in the Humans' IRC (internet relay chat). The channel you need to request is #humans. Recommended IRC servers include:

- Lowell.ma.us.undernet.org (use port 6662)
- sanjose.ca.us.undernet.org
- austin.tx.us.undernet.org
- davis.ca.us.undernet.org
- washington.dc.us.undernet.org
- irc.dal.net

Go to shareware sources like http://www.shareware.com and search on "IRC."
AOL Subscribers:
AOL doesn't directly support IRC. But as long as you have the latest version of AOL running, you'll be alble to run third party IRC programs. First, run AOL. Once connected, launch the IRC software. If you need IRC software, see the note above.
