Location: Indicates the country where the retailer is located. Most of the retailers do not limit their business to their home locations; many indicate a great desire to conduct international transactions.
Bruce Home: Indicates whether the retailer's web site has a linkable page that lists their catalog of Bruce's CDs. If there is a Bruce page at their site, clicking on 'Yes' will take you to that page.
Database: Almost all of the retailers listed here have a catalog database indicating their current inventory. I've classified the catalog database features three ways:

• Searchable. This is a database that allows for searching on words, names, titles, artists, etc.
• List. This is a textual listing of the retailer's catalog. Typically, these sites do not feature dynamic searching.
• Searchable List. This is a hybrid of the first two methods. After selecting a limiting factor (such as a type of music or the artists' name, a dynamic search can be performed.
• e-mail Query. Some retailers do not post their catalogs. Instead, they invite queried for titles.

US Release (Columbia/Sony): Columbia/Sony previously had most non-Canadian manufacturing and distribution rights to Bruce's music. As far as I can determine, the Columbia/Sony releases are identical. The number in this column refers to the current inventory of Columbia/Sony releases in the retailer's catalog as of December 20, 1996.
US Release (ESD): Prior to the contract with Columbia/Sony, a few of Bruce's CDs were on the East Side Digital (ESD) label. The number in this column refers to the current inventory of ESD releases in the retailer's catalog as of December 20, 1996.
Canada Release (True North): In his native Canada, Bruce's CDs are on the True North label (distributed by MCA). The number in this column refers to the current inventory of True North releases in the retailer's catalog as of December 20, 1996.
Europe Release (Cooking Vinyl): There are a few rare Bruce CDs that are only available in Europe. The number in this column refers to the current inventory of European releases in the retailer's catalog as of December 20, 1996.
Asia-Pacific Release: There are a few rare Bruce CDs that are only available in Japan, Australia and other Pacific countries. The number in this column refers to the current inventory of Asia-Pacific releases in the retailer's catalog as of December 20, 1996. A 'Yes' in the column indicates that while no material is in stock, it can be special ordered.

If your retail operation is not included in this web site or this listing, or if there is incorrect information, please forward that information to frank@kingsfield.com. To facilitate customers to your web sites, please provide me with the following information:

• Your store name, location (country), and home page URL (required).
• A URL for a direct link to an inventory of Bruce's works (highly recommended).
• A list of your current Bruce inventory (required); if you currently do not have any material in stock but can honor special orders, please let me know.
• URLs for any direct links to information about specific CD titles (recommended). In some instances, retailers have provided URLs that allow Bruce fans to go to a web page for a specific title and immediately place an order; this process requires the absence of any unique shopper ID numbers. If you're unsure about whether your store provides these kinds of direct links, talk to your IS department or your web creators. Retailers who have direct links to specific CD titles will be given higher preference in the display of information.

I do not make any judgement for one retailer over another. As such, listings will be alphabetical. Andy's CD and Tackle Shop will appear before Big Multinational Monolithic CD Megastore. The only exception is when specific titles are displayed on this web site, retailers with direct links to pages supporting that title will be listed first (see the last bullet item above).
